Jill Gregory and Karen Tintori met at a mother-toddler class in 1981 and turned their friendship into a decades-long writing partnership, publishing suspense fiction together under two different bylines. Their first two novels -- Something Borrowed, Something Blue (1993) and Catch Me If You Can (1996) -- appeared under the joint pseudonym "Jillian Karr"; Something Borrowed, Something Blue was later adapted into a CBS television movie and excerpted in Cosmopolitan magazine. More than a decade later, the pair returned to co-written thrillers under their own names with The Book of Names (2007), built around the real-world principles of Kabbalah, and The Illumination (2009), a spiritual thriller published simultaneously in Germany.
Something Borrowed, Something Blue (1993) and Catch Me If You Can (1996) were published under the joint pseudonym 'Jillian Karr' rather than the authors' own names; their later collaborations, The Book of Names (2007) and The Illumination (2009), were published under Jill Gregory and Karen Tintori's real names.
No -- each is a standalone thriller; they are grouped here only because they share the same two co-authors.
