About the Ed Eagle series

Ed Eagle is a high-profile Santa Fe criminal defense attorney, introduced in Santa Fe Rules (1992) defending a client accused of a gruesome murder, then developed across three further novels beginning fourteen years later that lean harder into thriller territory: Short Straw (2006) opens with the shock of Eagle's own wife trying to have him killed, and the two Santa Fe books that follow keep him tangled in Southwestern intrigue, courtroom maneuvering and the kind of moneyed danger that runs through all of Stuart Woods's series leads.
