About the Tricks series
Five teenagers -- Eden, a preacher's daughter; Seth, a gay farm boy disowned by his father; Whitney, a privileged kid drawn in by a pimp's attention; Ginger, a runaway arrested for soliciting an undercover cop; and Cody, whose gambling debts force his hand -- each end up selling their bodies in Tricks (2009), Ellen Hopkins's verse novel about how ordinary teenage vulnerabilities get exploited into sex trafficking.
