Author

Joel C. Rosenberg

Joel C. Rosenberg has written 18 books across 4 series. Start with The Last Jihad.

Joel C. Rosenberg is an American-Israeli evangelical Christian author, born in 1967, who writes political thrillers set against the geopolitics of the modern Middle East. He came to fiction after a career as a political and communications strategist, including work for figures such as Steve Forbes and Israeli politician Natan Sharansky, and drew on that background to build a string of thrillers -- beginning with The Last Jihad in 2002 -- that pair conventional espionage-thriller plotting with an explicitly Christian, pro-Israel worldview shaped by his reading of biblical prophecy.

Rosenberg has written four ongoing or completed thriller series (The Last Jihad, the Twelfth Imam books, the J.B. Collins trilogy, and the currently active Marcus Ryker series) plus one standalone World War II novel, The Auschwitz Escape, alongside a substantial body of nonfiction exploring Middle East politics, Bible prophecy, and the underground Christian movement inside Iran. He has been called an "eerily prophetic" novelist in the press for plot points -- an American-led war in Iraq, a Palestinian succession crisis, escalating Iran-Israel confrontation -- that appeared to echo real events shortly after each book's publication, a reputation that has become part of his public profile. The Ezekiel Option won the Gold Medallion Book Award, a leading Christian publishing prize, and several of his novels have been New York Times bestsellers.

Rosenberg and his wife, Lynn, hold dual U.S.-Israeli citizenship and founded The Joshua Fund, a charitable organization supporting Israel and its neighbors, in 2006. He continues to publish new Marcus Ryker novels as of this catalogue's curation.
